Offset Press Operator
Small Format Sheet fed - Heidelberg QM46 2 color & Heidelberg SM52 4 color, & Halm Jet Press needed
Ability to set up and run 2 or 4 color presses, perform maintenance on equipment, responsible for quality control on press.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience operating a sheet fed press and strong of understanding of color matching a must. Ability to work under tight deadlines.
Bindery Operator
Experience operating paper cutters, Standard Bookletmaker, Stahl Folder and perfect binding equipment required.
Bindery to include folding, cutting, padding, numbering, coil binding, collating, scoring, peforating, drilling, stitching, stapling, laminating.
Ability to perform and complete all finishing requirements according to job specs.
Package jobs/pull samples/complete work orders & delivery receipts as deemed necessary. Prepare according to work schedule for a timely and efficient turnaround to client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Digital Press / Copy Operator
Minimum 2-3 years experience operating digital copiers (Ricoh, Konica Minolta etc.)
Basic knowledge of layout of digital files, paper stocks & sizes and bindery process.
Monitor and manage inventory of supplies. Inform supervisor of equipment problems and place service calls as needed.
Fast Paced Environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes.
Pre-press Tech/Graphics Designer
Advanced knowledge of Quark, Illustrator, & InDesign apps. for MAC/PC as well as other major graphic apps.
Must be able to spec, set type, recreate art from samples.
Must understand basic printing principles, trapping, spot and process color separations, line screen, resolutions, etc.
Experience troubleshooting client supplied art. Direct customer interaction may be necessary.
Ability to prioritize & multi-task under tight deadlines a must.
